What a wonderful, unique multi-wood cutting board and knife set. This special board has a carved bowl to allow the exact placement of the curved knife blade. While in Alaska, we watched the natives use a similar knife to process fish. We like the idea and adapted our own version. The ULU Board is handmade from walnut, Cheery and Maple wood Harvested from the Appalachian Mountain of Eastern Kentucky. The ULU Blade is made from the same stainless still used to make sugerical insturments.
